User-Provided Information: As part of using the Service, you may be required to provide certain information in order to register and set up an account (including billing and credit card information), or at your option for certain free Services (Registration Data). If you invite a friend to try Paperlit, we will use that friend's email address for the sole purpose of sending your invitation.

File Information: Log file information is automatically reported by your browser each time you access a web page. When you view Paperlit.com, our servers automatically record certain information that your web browser sends whenever you visit any website. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information.

Clear Gifs Information: When you use the Service, we may employ clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons) which are used to track the online usage patterns of our users anonymously. No personally identifiable information from your Paperlit account is collected using these clear gifs. In addition, we may also use clear gifs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened by recipients. The information is used to enable more accurate reporting, improve the effectiveness of our marketing, and make Paperlit better for our users.

Automatically Recorded Information: Paperlit does not claim any ownership in any of the content, including any text, data, information, images, photographs, music, sound, video or other material that you upload, transmit, store or otherwise make available in connection with the Service. Such content will remain your private information. Paperlit's servers will automatically scan and record certain information regarding your use of the Service, such as basic log information, your email address, and your IP address. Such automatically recorded information shall remain your private information and will not be made available to the public.

User-Provided Information: By providing Paperlit your email address you consent to our using the email address to send you Service-related notices, including any notices required by law, in lieu of communication by postal mail. You may opt out or change the frequency of many Service-related communications by clicking an email preferences link provided at the end of every email Paperlit sends.
